There's no need to install a separate app - OttoPost prints and mails postcards from your Instagram photos. Sign up and OttoPost will automatically print and mail a postcard each time you post a new photo. If you don't want to print automatically, you can selectively print postcards for just the photos you want.
It works with both public and private Instagram accounts.
Tip: Instagram's account switching makes it fast and easy to use a separate Instagram account dedicated to printing with OttoPost!
Signing up for OttoPost is quick and easy! All you need to do is connect your existing Instagram account.
To do this, click to Get Started and choose "Connect Instagram". After logging in to Instagram, you'll click on the "Authorize" button to allow OttoPost to print photos from your Instagram.
Congratulations! You now have your very own OttoPost account!
If you don't already have an Instagram account, you'll need to download the app and create an Instagram account. Before ordering postcards, you'll need to complete the delivery address and billing information in your OttoPost account.
Once you're all set up, all you need to do is continue posting photos to Instagram as you normally do. OttoPost will wait for any new posts to appear in your Instagram feed (your photos only).
When you post a new photo, OttoPost will create a unique postcard including the photo itself, the date it was posted, and the caption. The postcard also includes your profile picture, Instagram username, bio, and a summary of your stats.
Note: it may take up to an hour for new photos to be processed by OttoPost.
There may be times when you don't want a postcard sent for a particular photo, or you just want to take a break. No problem! You can log in to OttoPost and use the Automatic Postcards Switch at the top of the page (next to your username).
Automatic Postcards Switch
When the switch is on, new Instagram posts will be processed and sent as postcards. When it's off, your posts will not be processed for printing unless you manually print a postcard from your OttoPost account.
Keep in mind that we look at whether the switch is on or off at the exact moment you post the photo in Instagram - even if the post doesn't show up immediately in OttoPost.
